Here is the final Holiday Coverage Schedule for the year. Remember: holiday CALL shifts are 8am-8pm and 8pm to 8am (except CHO shifts which are listed). The spreadsheet may seem a little busy but just scan through for your calls.

All residents: if you are on an in-patient service (Medicine, FMS, Newborn), even if you are NOT scheduled for a call on any given holiday, it does not mean you will not be scheduled to round. If you requested a specific holiday off, and you are on in-patient...I will make sure not to schedule you to round on that day. I am going to remind you all again: EVEN IF YOU ARE NOT SCHEDULED FOR A CALL DURING A HOLIDAY, IF YOU ARE ON IN-PATIENT YOU MAY STILL NEED TO ROUND.

For new interns: rounding on an in-patient means that you come in, see your patients, round with attending and finish your work before you leave (generally, you can finish by 1-2pm...or earlier if you really rush) but being ON-CALL...you are assigned a role in addition to maybe rounding on any given holiday (i.e. if you are on Medicine on Thanksgiving and you are scheduled for HO day call...you are here 8am-8pm). I can go over this in more detail during your orientation.

For 2nd and 3rd years: some of you have less calls than the rest and I will be using you (I will email you separately) to cover ALSO courses and retreat's during the year.

Attendings: I will enter this call schedule into AMION. For in-patient rounding (FMS and Med), I will include holiday rounding schedule on each Block's weekend rounding schedule so please refer to that for the residents rounding each holiday.

For all, I will post this document on Google Docs.

If anyone has ANY questions, please email me!
